One heck of a week...

Dad speaking: Well, we made it through the first week! Sadie is doing quite well; everyone is healthy and mentally alert. The nights have not been totally restless, but 'the bean' isn't 100% cooperative with sleeping through the night. Luckily, my new job allows me to come in late enough in the mornings that I can survive an all-night crying\sleepless fit...

Thanks for all of the flowers, cards, and love that you have been sending through e-mail & snail-mail. We appreciate all of your well-wishes and thoughts during this happiest of occasions!!!

Mom is soaking up all of the attention she can get from the nurses for as long as possible, so I haven't made it home yet. Never fear- I am fine, mom is fine, and dad is... well, this picture says is all:

My dad is setting up a blog for me and my mom will be updating it until I am old enough to bang away at the keyboard. I will have pics up as soon as possible, but I won't be available for photo-shoots until Friday afternoon [12/09/06]- since I am still curled up and enjoyng my mommie's tummy!
I know you are eager to meet me and read what I have to say, but everyone will just have to wait a little longer...
